Dewdrop
After all the ghoulish fun and revelry of Halloween, it does the heart good to pause and reflect upon a transient moment of great beauty, such as the one a dewdrop can offer – a simple moment that may at first seem insignificant, but may perhaps hold the very essence of life and death, and what we hope for in the world beyond. Let us look more closely now. All comments, as always, are most welcome.
Dewdrop
This dewdrop,
due to drop,
as the sun rises
and the light shines
through it
and within it,
reveals
the bluest
brightest diamond
God
can make of us
before we evaporate.
